Holy crapola!!

I just did a quick search on cottages for rent in the Muskokas, they all have minimum people allowances, so one allowing 14 or so people goes for $4800 a week, wowsers!! but holy are they beautiful and come with lake boat and not sure about beer ;)
On a sadder note, our baby girl Buttons, might be sick, I am terrified to take her to the vet, but going to have to, she lost her voice about a year ago, but now every time she purrs she starts choking as if she is trying to get up a furball, its so sad as she loves her pettings but gets all panicky and leaves when it happens, she is still eating as normal and kicking the crap out of Rocky as needed, but im so scared, will let you know, going to go in next week, giving her the week in the hopes that she just has a sore throat, do cats get them??? SIGH.

I did the same thing, only searched for cottages in the same area as mum and dad - found one that was "reasonable" by Ontario standards.
Sorry to hear about Buttons feeling poorly. Give her a cuddle for me, she is a cool cat. She is quite old now isn't she?
Dudley is doing well on his meds, not drinking as much water and not ravenous 24/7.
I hope it goes well. Love from me.

I'm hoping that it's just a sore throat. I think that Buttons has been a Duggan longer than I have.

Seems that everyone is only focusing on cottages in Ontario now. Is everywhere else no longer an option?

I have looked at BC, Ontario, and the East coast. I think really we should leave it up to Mum and Dad to make the decision. I will be happy wherever we all end up. Cheryl, have you ever been to Ontario? It is an absolutely beautiful province, particularly our area - no mountains like BC - but tons and tons of freshwater lakes and spectacular scenery. Also - great shopping! Canada's Wonderland would be loved by the kids and adults alike. But, having said that, Craig and I and Devin and Caitlin (we think they are included!) will be happy no matter where we all end up. If we can rent a place near Mum and Dads again - that suits me fine.
As we all search for ideas, lets send them on to Mum and Dad (in small quick loading suitable for dial up internet and dad's impatience) and see what they think.
I kinda think Buttons has been a Duggan longer than anyone! Hasn't she ALWAYS been around!?
Well, I should get off here now, I have one hour to get ready for the memorial service of the young lady who was killed in the avalanche.
Lotsa luv to everyone.
(I think by everyone, I basically mean - Jo, Jackie and Cheryl!!! Shall we rename it the Duggan Girls Page?)

p.s. Ontario would give Tara and John a chance to see everyone. Tara hasn't seen her uncles in about ten years. Just a shameless plug for Ontario!! lol
