JEREMY'S BIG NEWS

I'm not sure if you all heard yet, but Jeremy has found a new job!!!
He will no longer be bored at his job, nor will he come home all filthy (some days I want to hose him off before he comes through the door). Jeremy will be the Evening Shift Supervisor at a local company here in Saskatoon - only a 5 minute drive from home. He is so happy - this is more of a career move, as opposed to just a "job". I think that the fact he's turning 40 next month gave him the extra nudge to find something that is more than just a paycheque. A step up, rather than just a step. He will be in charge of the night shift employees, training, etc. Bonus for him is that they have the same machines he worked on in Abbotsford.
He gave his notice yesterday (came home with a HUGE grin on his face). Jeremy was told by his foreman that he is a great employee, extremely good at his job (even better than some of the people who have been there longer) & has a great work ethic. Then he asked if it was the shift that made him decide to leave. Those kind words were a great pat on the back for Jeremy.
Needless to say, I am very proud of my husband and excited about the new adventure that awaits him.

That is AWESOME NEWS, I was wondering just the other day if he had applied for that job as he had mentioned it to me, perfect, it is right up his alley, I know he will do great at it, congrats little brother :) now learn how to post on here, hahaha.
On another note, was talking to mum and dad the other day, what are we going to do about this holiday?? cabin in Ontario? B.C.?? something completely different?? Carl would rather us all get together too and have fun as a family rather than all splitting up, I happy with a lake---rowboat---beer and you bunch.

I know what you mean, water, beverages & family. If it's Ontario - there is Canada's Wonderland, BC - friends & family, Saskatoon - everyone can help build a new (flood proof garage), if it's Florida - get to see Mickey Mouse. All is good, as long as the timing is right.

Congratulations! Very good newsl Like Jackie I am happy wherever we end up - love the lake/sea, I can watch folks in rowboats sticking worms on hooks as I sip wine on the shore! Jackie knows me well enough to know that the second we coast away from shore in a rowboat, I will have to pee!
Ontario does indeed have Canada's wonderland - which is a ton of fun. It also has ME!!!
We opened an ad yesterday in the paper - full page - full colour of Labrador - it looks beautiful.
Saskatoon would also be fun and I would be happy to sip cider and watch a garage being built.
